Fishers compensation deal welcomed by Gladstone MP

GLADSTONE MP Liz Cunningham has welcomed a compensation deal for commercial fishers affected by LNG projects on Gladstone Harbour.

Ms Cunningham said the compensation package was overdue.

The Gladstone Ports Corporation announced a new scheme, which will have fishers awarded for loss of access to the harbour during construction of the projects.
