Charity golf fundraiser in Gladdy
IF you like hitting the green then there has never been a better time to head down to Gladstone Golf Club.
The 35th annual Motor Traders Charity Golf Day is your opportunity to give something back to the community and have fun at the same time.
All proceeds go to the hospital auxiliary,
Rotary Club Midday president Jeff Osborne said he encouraged everyone to join the event because it was for a good cause.
"It is a good chance for local golf and business houses to support charity," Osborne said.
"Gladstone motor dealers sponsor the day and a large number of businesses financially support us by sponsoring holes."
If you are worried about not being the best golfer in the world, Osborne said it was not the aim of the day.
"It is a fun day," he said.
"It's not super serious."
There are prizes up for grabs for those who participate and before the presentation of awards there will be a sporting memorabilia auction.
