Burnett new president

A CENTRAL Queensland cotton producer has been elected as the new general president of rural lobby group AgForce Queensland.

Ian Burnett has been farming in the Emerald district for more than 30 years and was elected to the position after a postal vote this week.

Darcy Volz from Charleville was elected vice-president.
