Bruce highway re-opens after crash

UPDATE: A QPS spokesperson has confirmed the Bruce Highway has re-opened following an accident this morning 10km south of the Boyne turnoff.

7.00 AM: The Bruce Highway is currently closed after a traffic accident 10km south of the Boyne turnoff.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) spokesperson said a truck and a ute collided at approximately 6.50am this morning, near Rodds Bay Road.

The two people in the ute sustained injuries and were transported to Gladstone Hospital.

Motorists can expect some delays.
