A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy was injured in a trail bike crash at Agnes Water on Sunday.

RACQ CareFlight Rescue airlifted the boy, who had sustained a suspected fractured right leg after he came off his trail bike.

The bike landed on his leg, causing the injury.

The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called in to airlift the boy shortly after 5pm on Sunday.

CareFlight's crew met QAS at the SES landing site and assessed the young patient.

He was flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.

The helicopter's crew has also released stunning images taken from the cockpit as it approached the scene.
