AFTER journeying the state and sampling the premium tourist destinations, Elisa Detrez has selected the 1770 LARC! tour as Queensland's best.

At the conclusion of Ms Detrez's reign as Queensland park ranger for the Best Job in the World, she was called upon to select a winner from activities such as horse riding, white-water rafting and sailing the Whitsundays.

The LARC! tour came out on top, described by Ms Detrez as "the best way to explore the beauty of Bustard Bay".

The crew, already aware of the unique service they offer, said they were rapt to hear Ms Detrez had crowned them winners. Operator Neil Mergard said he was stoked.

With sandbar fun, pristine views from water and land, the LARC! tour has earned its place as an unforgettable experience.
