AFTER five days of struggling to recover, the woman bitten by a snake on a walking track at Agnes Water has been discharged from Bundaberg Hospital yesterday.
A Wide Bay Hospital spokesman said the woman, 29, was moved to a stable ward on Friday.
Doctors were racing to alleviate snakebite symptoms on Thursday --- including diziness, a racing heart, numb lips, and difficulty swallowing --- with anti-venom.
A WOMAN bitten by a snake on an Agnes Water walking track yesterday afternoon is now in a stable condition.
A Wide Bay Hospital spokesman said the woman, 29, is still being closely monitored by doctors in the intensive care unit but is expected to make a full recovery.
Doctors raced to alleviate symptoms yesterday evening --- including diziness, a racing heart, numb lips, and difficulty swallowing --- with anti-venom.

A WIDE Bay Hospital and health service spokesman said that a woman who was bitten by a snake in Agnes Water this afternoon "is now critical but stable".
She was bitten on the foot and and is being treated with anti-venom.
A WIDE Bay hospital and health service spokesperson has confirmed that a woman, aged in her 30s, has arrived in a critical condition after suffering a snakebite on an Agnes Water walking track.
"The patient is in at the emergency department in a critical condition with significant envenomation," the spokesman said.
AN AGNES water woman has reportedly been bitten by a black snake and was rushed to Bundaberg Hospital in a critical condition.
Paramedics responded to the call at 3.30pm and she arrived at hospital at around 4.20pm.
The woman, aged in her 30s, complained of a range of symptoms consistent with a snakebite, including a racing heart, dizziness, numb lips, and difficulty swallowing.

EMERGENCY services are rushing an Agnes Water woman to Bundaberg Hospital after she was bitten by a snake.
The woman is aged in her 30s.
