Learner driver fined $1500 after being caught over limit

DRINK-DRIVING on a learner's licence has cost a Gladstone man $1500.

Around 1.10am on December 20, Cody James Daws, 19, was pulled over by police on Dawson Rd.

He had an alcohol-breath concentration of 0.163.

He appeared in court on Monday and was fined $1500, disqualified from driving for 10 months and had his conviction recorded.
